Help CHCS test our new content management system!

CHCS is pleased to announce that the new version of the CHCS content management (CMS) system is now available for testing. We're asking you, as a client who uses our CMS system on a regular basis, to help us test the new system. What's New * An improved interface for the CHCS customers site, where you can access such features as editable areas, section management, and simple calendar. * A new system for uploading and editing images (to replace iBrowser). * A new system for creating and editing image galleries. * A new system for creating and editing blogs (this isn't technically part of our new system, but you're welcome to try it as well). * A new system for uploading media files such as Flash. Caution! Use this feature with care, as such files can be large. Contact CHCS regarding how much space you have available on your site. * A new ability to post code (such as code used for "Buy Now" buttons and the like) to your pages. * Expanded ability for you to add and manage users who will have editorial access to your site. Note: If we haven't already set up some of these functions for you -- like image galleries or blogs -- let us know and we'll be happy to do so. Until that time, you may not see all of the available options on your menu. How to Access Log in to the CHCS Customers site as you usually do. Once you have logged in, you can access the new Customers site by going to https://www.chcs.com/customers/2.0/ You'll see the main menu on the left. Changes you make to your site using the new system will be saved when you tell the system to do so. The old Customers site will still be available during this testing phase. How to Provide Feedback We ask that you provide feedback using our . If you have not already received a username and password for this site, contact CHCS. If you find anything that doesn't seem to be working correctly, please post: * What you did to generate the problem. What screen were you on? What page were you attempting to edit? * What error (if any) was displayed. If you receive a ColdFusion error, please do NOT try the same process again. We will be notified automatically and will check into the problem. * What operating system (Windows XP, Mac OS 10.4) and what browser (Firefox 2.0.0.9, Internet Explorer 7, Safari 3) you were using. We haven't written the documentation for the new system yet, but we think it's pretty easy to use. Please let us know if there are any parts of the system that you find confusing. Thanks for your help in this project, and please let us know if you have any questions. Charlie Hamilton and Martin Potter
